The Amazing Spider-Man # 1 2025 NM

The Amazing Spider-Man # 1  released on April 9, 2025, launched an all-new era for Marvel’s flagship title. Written by Joe Kelly with lead art by Pepe Larraz, the issue marks a "fresh start" for Peter Parker following the conclusion of the "Eight Deaths of Spider-Man" storyline. 

The issue re-establishes a grounded status quo for Peter Parker while introducing a central mystery: 

• The Job Search: Peter is unemployed and struggling with his "Parker Luck" as he moves through a series of failed job interviews. He eventually lands a position at Rand Enterprises thanks to a recommendation from a childhood friend.
• The Rhino’s Rampage: His first day at Rand is interrupted by a rampaging Rhino. Unlike his typical bruiser self, Rhino is in a blind, drug-fueled rage and suffers a heart attack during the battle.
• The Sinister Iceberg: The Rhino’s condition is revealed to be part of a conspiracy. A major Spider-Villain—later revealed as Roderick Kingsley (Hobgoblin)—is working with a mysterious partner to weaponize other villains.
• Backup Story: A secondary story features Norman Osborn, who is attempting to live a reformed, "goblin-free" life while facing public backlash and a new mechanical threat.
