The Modern "Giant-Size" Format (DC Comics)

Starting in March 2025, DC Comics introduced a new line of Giant-Size Special Editions that are printed at a massive 11" x 17" size. 

• Purpose: This format is designed to maintain the exact 1:1 ratio of the original art boards, allowing fans to see the artwork as the artist originally drew it.
• Key Titles: The line launched with Batman #158 (Hush 2) and has expanded to include the entire Hush 2 storyline and "DC W.I.P." (Work In Progress) Artist's Editions like All-Star Superman #1and Absolute Batman #1.
• Size Comparison: These are significantly larger than the historic "Treasury Edition" (tabloid) comics of the 1970s, which measured approximately 10" x 13.5".
