Black Widow & Hawkeye # 1 2024 VF/NM

Black Widow & Hawkeye # 1 March 13, 2024, launched a four-issue limited series celebrating the 60th anniversary of both characters. The story explores their complex history while integrating recent developments from their individual solo titles.

The story centers on Clint Barton (Hawkeye), who is accused of a rogue assassination attempt that jeopardizes the relationship between the U.S. and Madripoor. 

• The Rescue: Despite the political risks, a symbiote-bonded Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) travels to Madripoor to find and assist him.
• The Symbiote: Natasha is now host to a sentient symbiote (Sliver), which she uses to track Clint through a Russian assassin's memories.
• The Revelation: Upon finding a wounded Clint, he shocks Natasha by confessing he actually committed the shooting, claiming it was necessary despite the "hopeful" speech the victim was giving.
