Captain America Annual # 2021 VF+

Captain America Annual # 1 June 16, 2021 is the second chapter of the eight-part "Infinite Destinies" crossover event. This issue focuses on the re-emergence of the Infinity Stones and their bond with new hosts known as "Infinity People". 

• Main Story: Captain America and Black Widow pursue Overtime (Hector Bautista), a death row inmate who escaped prison after the Time Stone bonded with his soul. Despite their pursuit, Overtime uses his newfound time-manipulation powers to evade capture and begins his own quest to find other stone-holders.
• Backup Story: Titled "Super-Spy vs. Super-Spy" (Part 2 of 8), this secondary tale features Captain America and Nick Fury. It is notable for its unique visual style, utilizing a red, white, and blue color palette. 

• Infinity Stones: The issue serves as groundwork for the modern status of the Infinity Stones after they were scattered following the 2018 Infinity Wars event.
• Character Dynamic: Critics noted the fun banter between Cap and Black Widow, though some felt the issue leaned more toward an "Avengers" style story than a solo Captain America piece.
