Convergence # 1 2105 NM

Convergence # 1, published in April 2015, is the first issue of a high-stakes weekly event series that brings together heroes and villains from every era of DC Comics history. 

The plot centers on Brainiac, who has collected 50 doomed cities from various timelines and universes—including those from Crisis on Infinite Earths, Zero Hour, and Flashpoint—and placed them under impenetrable domes on a sentient planet outside of time and space. 

• The Conflict: The issue introduces Telos, the planet incarnate and Brainiac's steward. Telos decides to drop the domes and force the inhabitants of these "bottled" cities to fight one another in a massive battle royale.
• Survival of the Fittest: Only the strongest city will be allowed to survive and return to the primary universe; those that refuse to fight or are defeated will be destroyed.
• The Protagonists: The main narrative primarily follows a group of refugees from Earth-2 (including Dick Grayson and Thomas Wayne) who arrive on the planet and must unlock its secrets to save their people. 
• Writers: Jeff King and Scott Lobdell.
• Artists: Carlo Pagulayan (pencils) and Jason Paz (inks).
• Significance: This event served as a major turning point, making all past DC timelines and "Elseworlds" stories canon by revealing they still exist within the broader multiverse.
