Convergence: Batman and Robin #2 (2015) concludes the duel between the Pre-Flashpoint Dynamic Duo and the villainous Extremists, focusing on the tactical brilliance of the Waynes and a significant character choice for Damian. 

Story Summary

The battle in the streets of Gotham reaches its peak as Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Robin (Damian Wayne) face off against Lord Havok and his team. 

• Tactical Warfare: Despite being physically outmatched by the cyborg Lord Havok, Bruce and Damian use their knowledge of Gotham’s terrain to their advantage. Batman utilizes high-tech gadgets and environmental traps to level the playing field against the Extremists' raw power.
• Damian’s Growth: A major theme of the issue is Damian’s struggle with his violent instincts. Throughout the fight, he is tempted to use lethal force against the bloodthirsty villains, but Bruce guides him to maintain the "no-kill" rule, reinforcing Damian’s path toward true heroism.
• The Resolution: The duo successfully neutralizes the Extremists. Following the battle, Damian expresses a newfound appreciation for his father's methods and the time they spent together under the dome, strengthening their father-son bond.
• The Convergence Effect: With their victory, their version of Gotham is temporarily spared from the erasure threatening the other "losing" cities on the planet Telos.
