Convergence: The Adventures of Superman # 1 2015 VF/NM

Convergence: The Adventures of Superman #1 (2015), written by Marv Wolfman with art by Roberto Viacava and Andy Owens, features the pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths Earth-One versions of Superman and Supergirl as they desperately try to escape their domed city via the Phantom Zone. 

Plot Synopsis

For the past year, Superman (Kal-El) and Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) have been trapped without powers in a domed version of Gotham City, cut off from their home and time. Unlike other heroes who waited passively, the cousins work with Lucius Fox to rebuild a Phantom Zone Projector, hoping to use the Zone as a pathway out of the dome. 

• Entering the Phantom Zone: They successfully teleport themselves into the Phantom Zone, a desolate landscape where Krypton's worst criminals are imprisoned.
• Visions of Crisis: While in the Zone, Supergirl experiences vivid visions of her future and inevitable death at the hands of the Anti-Monitor in the original Crisis on Infinite Earths event.
• The Fight for Survival: The Kryptonian criminals attack, overwhelming Superman. Supergirl, despite knowing her future fate if she returns to her reality, chooses heroism, rescues her cousin, and prepares to fight their way back to Earth.
• The Dome Drops: The dome over Gotham is lifted, and the voice of Telos announces the battle for survival. Back in Gotham, Lucius Fox is horrified to see an army of ape-men from the Kamandi timeline marching on the city, leaving the powered-up Superman and Supergirl trapped in the Phantom Zone and facing enemies on two fronts.
