DC K.O. #4, released on February 11, 2026, serves as the penultimate issue of the King Omega tournament. The issue marks the first official crossover between the mainline DC Universe and the Absolute Universe. 

Plot Summary: "Trial by Absolute" 

• The Final Four Confrontation: The tournament's remaining finalists—Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, and The Joker—are pitted against the Absolute Trinity (corrupted versions of Absolute Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman).
• Joker’s Betrayal: During the battle, The Joker defects to Darkseid’s side, becoming a new form of Parademon and the tyrant's "fourth horseman".
• Batman’s Return: Having survived the trials of the Knightfight tie-in series, the mainline Batman returns to the battlefield. He effectively neutralizes The Joker and assists the heroes in holding back the Absolute champions.
• Darkseid Unveiled: Darkseid is revealed to have been possessing Booster Gold. After Superman knocks Darkseid out of Booster’s body, the "True Form" of Darkseid emerges and eliminates almost everyone with his Omega Beams, leaving only Superman and Lex Luthor standing.
• The Winner: In a historic betrayal, Lex Luthor kills Superman by shooting him in the back with his suit's final energy blast. The Heart of Apokolips officially crowns Lex Luthor as King Omega, setting the stage for a final one-on-one battle between Lex and Darkseid. 

Epilogue and Teases 

• A Glimpse of Hope: The issue ends with a vision shown to Saturn Girl by Darkseid. Amidst a future of absolute darkness, she sees a shining light identified as the Time Trapper, suggesting a potential counter to Darkseid's victory.
