Death's Head II # 1 is the first issue of a four-part, self-titled limited series from Marvel UK, first published in March 1992. This comic introduced a new, more aggressive cyborg character, distinct from the original robotic bounty hunter, and featured a guest appearance by the X-Men. 

The miniseries, subtitled The Wild Hunt, tells the origin story of the second Death's Head.

• Premise: A time-traveling Minion cyborg, created by the amoral A.I.M. scientist Dr. Evelyn Necker in the future (2020), is programmed to kill and assimilate the skills and knowledge of 106 deadly individuals.
• Assimilation Backfire: When the Minion cyborg attempts to assimilate its 105th target, the original Death's Head bounty hunter, the original character's consciousness overrides the Minion's programming, giving the new cyborg free will and a rebellious personality.
• The Hunt Begins: The new "Death's Head II" must then face threats related to its new existence, starting with encounters with various X-Men characters, including Wolverine, Cyclops, and Gambit, who are investigating strange occurrences in Paxton, Oregon.
