Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe # 1 Yu Foil Variant 2025 NM

Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe # 1, published in July 2025, is the first issue in a five-part miniseries that begins with Godzilla awakening and carving a path of annihilation through New York City, forcing Marvel's heroes and villains to unite to try to stop him. 

The issue sets the stage for an epic, universe-spanning conflict, beginning with a discovery in the subterranean world. 

• Mole Man's Discovery: The story begins with the Mole Man's subjects discovering a unique deposit of vibranium, which has unstable molecules, deep beneath the earth. When Mole Man uses a weapon forged from this material, its immense energy accidentally awakens both a sleeping Godzilla and a Celestial.
• The Clash of Titans: Godzilla emerges near Liberty Island and immediately engages in a battle with the Celestial, swiftly defeating it with a single blow.
• Heroic Efforts Fail: The Fantastic Four are the first on the scene, followed quickly by the Avengers and other heroes. Their combined efforts to stop the rampaging Godzilla are entirely ineffective.
• A Desperate Retreat: Captain America reflects Godzilla's atomic breath with his shield, but the monster regenerates almost instantly. The Fantastic Four, in a desperate attempt to contain the beast, try to open a portal to the Negative Zone, but Godzilla destroys the Baxter Building, sending Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Captain America through the portal instead.
• All-Hands-On-Deck: With the prime heroes defeated or missing, a global call for help is issued. A new team, including the two Spider-Men, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Deadpool, arrives to join the fight, as Black Panther is sent to study the mysterious vibranium that seems to be the key to the monster's presence.
