The story begins with Catwoman recruiting Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy to pull off a heist at Lunaria, a new, high-end outer space-themed nightclub. While their initial goal is to steal a rare artifact known as "the Conduit," the Sirens soon discover the club is a front for something far more dangerous. 

• The Villain: The club's owner is revealed to be the alien despot Despero, who is using the venue to further a plot to destroy or conquer the entire planet.
• A Shift in Mission: By the end of the issue, the narrative shifts from a standard heist into a high-stakes rescue mission.
