Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1952 # 5 2015 NM

Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: 1952 # 5 released on January 7, 2015 (cover date April 1, 2015), is the explosive conclusion to Hellboy's first official mission with the B.P.R.D. 

The final issue of the miniseries brings the action in the Portuguese fortress to a climax, with Hellboy facing monsters, madmen, and the terrible truth behind the local murders. 

• The Villain Revealed: The main antagonist is revealed to be the Nazi scientist Herman von Klempt, who has been experimenting with reanimating bodies and creating "super monkey soldiers" to curry favor with the remnants of Hitler's Third Reich.
• The Confrontation: Hellboy discovers the horrifying experiments taking place below the fortress and confronts von Klempt, whose head is gruesomely attached to one of his monstrous, experimental bodies.
• Monsters and Mayhem: Hellboy is forced to fight the grotesque creatures, including the reanimated Frankenstein-like soldiers and a giant tentacle monster, to save his fellow agents and the village.
