Hercules # 2 1984 VF+

Hercules # 2 (April 1984), titled "Red Wolf Stalks the Stars!", continues the demigod's space-faring adventures in the second Prince of Power limited series. 

"Red Wolf Stalks the Stars!" 

• The Fugitives: Hercules, the Recorder 417, and their new Skrull companion Skyppi are on the run after escaping the planet Deniciere in Apollo’s sun-chariot.
• The Assassin: They arrive at Starstation Philord for repairs but are targeted by Rojohn Smythe, a new version of Red Wolf. Unlike the traditional hero, this version is an archaeologist transformed by an alien artifact into a vessel of vengeance dedicated to exterminating all Skrulls.
• The Conflict: Red Wolf attacks Skyppi, forcing Hercules into a brutal battle that crashes through the station's decks.
• The Aging Mystery: During a brief moment of reflection in a cell, Hercules is shocked to discover he is physically aging, suggesting his immortality may be failing.
• Olympian Tragedy: Intercut with these events, the story shows the sun god Apollo desperately attempting to flee Mount Olympus as an insane Zeus continues to systematically murder the other Olympian gods.
