Justice League United #1 (2014) is the second chapter of the "Justice League Canada" storyline, following the team's formation in issue #0. It features an eclectic group of heroes, including Animal Man, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Stargirl, who unite to investigate an alien conspiracy in Northern Ontario. 

Plot Summary: "Justice League Canada, Part 2"

Picking up immediately after the previous issue, the team faces an escalating extraterrestrial threat while attempting to rescue Alanna Lewis. 

• The Unimaginable: The heroes battle a monstrous, shapeshifting alien giant called the Unimaginable, which was created through hybrid DNA experiments.
• Adam Strange's Debut: Dr. Adam Strange discovers a room full of alien space-suits and takes the initiative to help. His first attempt at using a jet-pack is famously depicted as a "bumbling" failure, highlighting that he is still just an ordinary man at this stage.
• Cosmic Conflict: On the prison moon of Thalsalla, Hawkman is forced into a brutal fight against the bounty hunter Lobo to protect Alanna and other inmates.
• Equinox's Absence: Although she is a central figure in the series' promotion, the new Canadian hero Equinox (Miiyahbin Marten) does not actually appear in this specific issue. 
• Key Moments: Martian Manhunter's display of power against the giant monster was a highlight for many readers.
