Story Synopsis 

The narrative focuses on Krypto as a fully realized character with his own emotions and personality, notably avoiding human-style thought balloons. 

• Life on Krypton: Krypto is depicted as a normal, happy puppy living with the House of El: Jor-El, Lara, and baby Kal-El.
• The Incident: During a rocket test that goes catastrophically wrong, Krypto is launched into deep space just before Krypton's destruction.
• Arrival on Earth: Krypto crash-lands alone on Earth decades later. The issue explores his confusion and fear as he navigates a strange new world before eventually discovering the powers granted to him by Earth's yellow sun.
• Key Encounter: While the first issue establishes his arrival, the series proceeds to follow him meeting and being temporarily cared for by a young, troubled Lex Luthor.
