Loki # 1, released by Marvel Comics on June 7, 2023, is the first issue of a four-part miniseries written by Dan Watters with art by Germán Peralta. 

The series follows Loki in his current state as the God of Stories, having adopted a more reformed and "benevolent" persona. He has established a relatively quiet life in Florida while also ruling as the King of the Frost Giants in Jotunheim. 

• A Haunting Past: The peaceful life is disrupted when remnants of Loki's past as the God of Lies return. He discovers that powerful, ancient weapons he created during his villainous days are now scattered across the Ten Realms.
• The Mission: To prevent these weapons from causing catastrophic events, including another Ragnarok, Loki must embark on a journey to track them all down.
• Unique Narration: The story is told from the unusual perspective of the spirits that make up the warship Loki built, which is the source of the scattered weapons. This provides a narrative voice that is a character in itself.
• Tone: The issue balances Loki's characteristic snarky humor and trickster nature with genuine stakes and introspection as he grapples with the consequences of his past actions.
