Marvel Comics Presents # 102, published in 1992, features the second part of a multi-part Wolverine and Nightcrawler team-up story set in a small German town with mysterious inhabitants, exploring elements of Nightcrawler's past. The issue also contains three other short stories. 

"Male Bonding" (Part 2) 

This segment continues the story of Wolverine tracking Nightcrawler to the seemingly idyllic German town of Winzeldorf. The narrative explores the mystery surrounding the village and its inhabitants, with a focus on Nightcrawler's history, including a flashback revealing how his foster brother, Stefan, committed suicide using Nightcrawler's own tail. The two X-Men work together to investigate the town, which is feuding with a race of "monster people". 

Other Stories 

The issue of Marvel Comics Presents #102 is an anthology and includes three other self-contained stories: 

  • "Against A Rogue God" (Part 2): This story features the Young Gods as they continue their meeting with the Celestials.
  • "Doorway to Darkness" (Part 2): This segment features Doctor Strange and Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch) as they deal with demonic threats, including the first appearance of the demon called Pain.
