The Premise

The series introduces a dark, Lovecraftian horror-superhero reimagining of Marvel's first family. The narrative kicks off when an obsessive scientist's curiosity accidentally uncovers forbidden secrets and ancient dimensions. This discovery unleashes elder terrors upon the world while physically and psychologically warping the scientist and three others in strange, horrifying ways. Writer Benjamin Percy has noted that the book channels classic cosmic horror, comparing the slow-burn atmospheric dread to an A24 film production. Major characters slated for the run include twisted iterations of Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing, Doctor Doom, and a terrifyingly redesigned Galactus.
