My Adventures with Superman #1, published by DC Comics on June 4, 2024, is the premiere issue of a 6-issue comic book limited series. This tie-in series was explicitly designed to act as an official narrative bridge between Season 1 and Season 2 of the hit Adult Swim/Max animated show.

To keep the comic completely faithful to the television show's unique anime-inspired aesthetic and upbeat, romantic-comedy tone, the book was written by Josie Campbell (the head writer of the television series) with vibrant interior artwork by Pablo M. Collar.

Core Plot & Synopsis

The issue picks up directly in the aftermath of the explosive, alien-invasion finale of Season 1.

• Christmas Alone: It is Christmas time in Metropolis. Because Clark Kent cannot risk revealing his secret identity to his childhood friends or his adoptive parents by disappearing, he makes the lonely sacrifice to stay behind in the city by himself over the holidays while Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen go to visit their respective families.
• The Sewer Monster: Clark's quiet holiday is short-lived. A sudden, breaking tip points to a bizarre, destructive monster running rampant through the city's sewer system. Lois and Jimmy immediately rush back into town to team up with the Man of Steel and investigate the scoop.
• A New Parasite Threat: When they confront the creature underground, Superman uses his specialized hearing to realize this isn't the classic Anthony Ivo version of Parasite they fought before. Instead, an unknown civilian has gotten their hands on one of Ivo's dangerous, rogue bio-armor suits. The suit is acting like a mindless, parasitic host, violently absorbing energy and pulling the trio into a chaotic battle that brings in the hostile eye of the US Military.
