Questprobe #2 released in late 1984 (cover-dated January 1985), is the second issue of a three-part limited series published by Marvel Comics. This issue focuses on Spider-Man and serves as a cross-promotional tie-in for the Questprobe graphic adventure video game series developed by Scott Adams. 

Plot Summary: "Mysterio Times Two!"

The story centers on a test of character and ability orchestrated by a cosmic being known as the Chief Examiner: 

  • The Escape: The master of illusion, Mysterio, escapes from prison and seizes control of the Daily Bugle building, demanding a final showdown with Spider-Man.
  • The Test: As Spider-Man fights his way through Mysterio’s elaborate traps and theatrical special effects, he is secretly being monitored by the Chief Examiner.
  • Character Insight: The issue highlights Peter Parker's analytical mind and scientific expertise as he deciphers Mysterio’s tricks to overcome his illusions.
  • First Appearance: This issue features the first appearance of Tuskar, a minor character related to the Chief Examiner's cosmic quest.
