Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi — The Golden Age of the Sith #0 is a "prequel" comic published by Dark Horse Comics on July 31, 1996. Set in 5000 BBY, it explores the ancient history of the Jedi and the Sith Empire nearly five millennia before the original films. 

Plot Summary

The issue serves as a prologue to the Great Hyperspace War and focuses on several key storylines:

• The Unification Wars: Jedi Master Ooroo sends his student, Odan-Urr, to the Koros system. There, Odan-Urr uses Battle Meditation to help Empress Teta defeat rebels on the planet Kirrek and unify the system.
• The Daragon Siblings: Gav and Jori Daragon, young hyperspace explorers, lose their parents during the final battle on Kirrek. Destitute and in debt to Aarrba the Hutt, they reclaim their ship, the Starbreaker 12, and desperately flee into uncharted hyperspace.
• The Sith Empire: On the distant world of Korriban, the Sith Lords mourn the death of their leader, Marka Ragnos. A power struggle begins between rivals Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh, just as the Daragons accidentally arrive in Sith space.
