Street Fighter vs. Rival Schools # 1 FCBD (2025) is a special crossover anthology issue published by UDON Entertainment. Released in May 2025, this comic was designed to build hype for Capcom’s long-dormant high school fighting franchise, perfectly timing it alongside the announcement of the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 video game.

Written by David Lumsdon, the 28-page issue features two lighthearted, martial arts action-comedy stories that bridge characters from both universes.

Story 1: "Deadly Lessons!"

The main feature is illustrated by Tovio Rogers and takes place in Aohura City:

• The Setup: Edge and Gan—two delinquent students from Gedo High—are frustrated because their school's tough reputation took a major hit after Batsu from Taiyo High beat Edge in a fight.
• The Scheme: While scheming in an alleyway, they stumble across Street Fighter mainstays Dan Hibiki and Blanka, who are starving and desperate for food. Edge and Gan decide to manipulate the situation. When Dan isn't looking, they beat him up and trick Blanka into believing that students from the rival high schools are vicious bullies targeting innocent people.
• The Climax: The delinquents use an enraged Blanka to tear through the local schools. Batsu and Hinata go out to confront the green "monster," but Sakura Kasugano (who acts as the main bridge between both franchises) steps in to stop the fighting and expose the deception. The story wraps up with Edge and Gan getting a well-deserved beatdown from Blanka and a recovered Dan.

Story 2: "A Shot at Freedom"

The backup feature is illustrated by Royce Southerland and doubles down on pure comedy:

• The Plot: The story focuses on Kyoko Minazuki, the stern, no-nonsense nurse and chemistry teacher from Rival Schools. She attempts to medically treat a very stubborn, uncooperative patient who crosses over from the Street Fighter roster, resulting in a battle of wills.
