  • S.T.A.R. Labs Rush: Lois Lane rushes to S.T.A.R. Labs to meet with Professor Emil Hamilton and Dr. Kitty Faulkner to find a solution before Superman entirely fades out of physical existence.
  • The LexCorp Intervention: The scientists cannot stabilize him until the Contessa Erica Del Portenza (Lex Luthor's wife) arrives. She delivers a roll of a highly advanced polymer fabric created secretly by LexCorp.
  • Birth of Superman Blue: Combining this material with circuitry from Superman's fortress robots, they forge a special, blue-and-white containment suit. This suit successfully grounds Superman's crackling energy, allowing him to control his new lightning-based powers, manipulate electronic grids, and move faster than ever.
  • The Monster Clash: While adjusting to these bizarre mechanics, he faces off against Scorn (Ceritak), a hulking blue brute from the bottle city of Kandor who is initially misunderstood as a villain.
