Supernatural # 1 2025 NM

Supernatural # 1 released by Dynamite Entertainment on October 29, 2025, is the debut issue of a new ongoing comic series that is fully canon to the television show and captures the "lost episodes" feel of the series' early seasons. 

The story is set chronologically between the end of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 of the TV show, as brothers Sam and Dean Winchester are still hunting the yellow-eyed demon Azazel and reeling from the events of the season finale car crash. 

• The Case: Sam and Dean roll into a decaying rust belt town to investigate a series of mysterious deaths involving spontaneous combustion and inexplicable fires.
• The Culprit: The source of the mayhem is revealed to be a mischievous, low-level demon called an imp, which has been accidentally trapped inside an antique bottle of whiskey and is causing chaos every time someone drinks from it.
• Classic Vibe: The narrative is a classic "monster-of-the-week" episode, focusing on the brothers' dynamic: Dean uses pop-culture references and aliases (identifying as "Roth" and "Halen"), while Sam deals with the heavy trauma and grief of his girlfriend Jessica's fiery death.
