The Amazing Spider-Man # 1 2015 VF/NM

The Amazing Spider-Man #1, published in October 2015, marks the start of the "Worldwide" era during the All-New, All-Different Marvel relaunch. Following the events of Secret Wars, this issue presents a major status quo shift where Peter Parker has become a billionaire global tech mogul. 

Plot & Status Quo

• Parker Industries Global: Peter Parker’s company has become a multi-billion dollar international entity with offices in Shanghai, London, San Francisco, and New York.
• The "Bodyguard" Cover: To protect his secret identity, Peter adopts the "Tony Stark model," publicly claiming that Spider-Man is his personal bodyguard.
• The Spider-Mobile: Reflecting his new resources, Spider-Man uses a high-tech, wall-crawling car and a new MK IV armor suit.
• New Alliances: He frequently teams up with Mockingbird (Bobbi Morse), who acts as a liaison between Parker Industries and S.H.I.E.L.D.. 

Villains & Conflict

• The Zodiac: A reinvigorated, high-tech version of the astrological-themed criminal organization serves as the primary global threat.
• The Leo Sect: In this issue, Spider-Man thwarts a Zodiac cell (the Leo Sect) attempting to steal servers from the Shanghai branch of Parker Industries.
• Other Threats: The issue hints at a mysterious "Goblin" threat in Africa and the eventual return of Doctor Octopus.
