The Amazing Spider-Man Annual # 22 1998 NM-

The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #22, published in 1988, is a major landmark for collectors as it features the first appearance of Speedball (Robbie Baldwin). It is also the fifth part of the company-wide crossover event, The Evolutionary War. 

Story Summary: "Drug War Rages"

• The Murder Frame-Up: After Spider-Man busts a drug shipment, a crooked cop calls in a hood named Splitface Flanagan to kill the bound dealers, framing Spider-Man for the murders.
• The Team-Up: Daredevil hears of the murders and tracks down Spider-Man to find the truth. The two heroes agree to clear Spidey’s name.
• Speedball's Entrance: While visiting New York, young Robbie Baldwin is attacked by muggers. His latent kinetic powers manifest for the first time, allowing him to bounce around and defeat the attackers.
• The Climax: The heroes discover that the High Evolutionary's "Purifiers" are behind the drug interference as part of a plan to sterilize the city's population. They battle atop the Empire State Building, where Speedball helps them destroy a giant raygun.
