The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows # 1 2017 NM-

The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #1 (2017)—which launched with a cover date of January 2017 (released in late 2016)—is the debut issue of the highly popular ongoing "Spider-Family" series.

Written by veteran Spider-Man writer Gerry Conway with dynamic pencils by Ryan Stegman, this issue officially establishes the alternate reality of Earth-18119, where Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson remained happily married and are raising their superpowered daughter, Annie.

The Plot: "Brawl in the Family, Part 1"

The issue details the delicate balancing act of the Parker household. Peter and MJ are struggling to pay rent and make ends meet in New York City while safely managing their young daughter Annie's blooming spider-powers.

• Power-Sharing Tech: To keep his family safe, Peter repurposes leftover biomechanical technology from the defeated villain Regent. He constructs a specialized suit for Mary Jane that siphons a portion of his own spider-powers, granting her identical strength and wall-crawling abilities without putting her in harm's way unequipped.
• The Conflict: While Peter tries to take photos for the Daily Bugle and MJ manages her fashion blogging, an army of subterranean monsters invades Manhattan. The family suits up together to fight off the horde, ultimately tracking the source of the chaos back to the classic villain Mole Man.

Collector Significance & First Appearances
