The Sensational She-Hulk # 37, published by Marvel Comics in March 1992, is a comedic, fourth-wall-breaking adventure by John Byrne where She-Hulk and her boyfriend are kidnapped by the Living Eraser.

The story continues John Byrne's meta-fictional run, where Jennifer Walters is aware she is a comic book character.

  • Date Night Interrupted: Jennifer Walters and Wyatt Wingfoot return to her apartment after a romantic trip, only to find the villainous Living Eraser there. He quickly erases them from their dimension.
  • Dimension Z: She-Hulk and Wyatt find themselves in a new dimension where the ruler, the Supremacy, kidnaps women he finds physically perfect. She-Hulk is horrified to discover that all the women in this dimension look exactly like her, as the Supremacy considers them "ordinary" while hailing her as "perfection".
  • The Rescue and The Fourth Wall: Jennifer rejects the Supremacy's marriage proposal and finds Wyatt chained up to ensure her compliance. She easily breaks free, rescues Wyatt, and forces the Supremacy to reveal where the Living Eraser has gone. When she uses the Eraser's device incorrectly, she accidentally erases several pages of her own comic book.
  • Confronting the Creator: She-Hulk literally busts through the blank white pages of her own comic book and yells at writer/artist John Byrne for using an old gag he pulled in his Alpha Flight series years prior. She demands he put them back in their apartment, which he does, allowing them to continue their date.
  • Writer: John Byrne
  • Penciler: John Byrne
  • Inker: Keith Williams
  • Publisher: Marvel Comics

The cover features a satirical jab at the time's editorial mandates to include A-list characters in struggling series, humorously advertising the "guest-starring" appearances of Wolverine, the Punisher, and Spider-Man inside a box in the corner. In reality, none of these characters appear in the comic's story.
