Thor: Where Walk the Frost Giants # 1 is a 2017 one-shot comic written by Ralph Macchio and illustrated by Todd Nauck. Released during the lead-up to the Thor: Ragnarok film, it features an all-ages adventure starring the original God of Thunder. 

Plot Summary

• A Hero's Vengeance: After a fallen warrior named Skarsgard brings news of an impending Frost Giant attack, Thor defies orders from Tyr and travels to the frozen realm of Niffleheim to avenge the warrior's death.
• Rescue and Battle: Accompanied by the Warriors Three and a young Asgardian stowaway named Kallum, Thor faces the mighty Ymir, the ancestor of all giants. The group is initially captured, but Kallum manages to free them, allowing the Asgardian army to arrive and route the giants.
• Classic Reprint: The issue also includes a reprint of the iconic battle between Thor and the Hulk from 1964’s Journey Into Mystery #112.
