Story Summary

The story follows Misty Knight as she travels to Doverton, Colorado—the site of a previous massacre in Carnage, U.S.A.—to find her missing partner, John Jameson (Man-Wolf). 

• The Cult of Knull: Misty discovers that the town has been overtaken by a cult worshipping the dark god Knull. This "Church of the New Darkness" is using Carnage as a messianic figure.
• A Horrific Discovery: The issue features grisly imagery, including a zoo filled with skeletal animal remains, signaling Carnage's evolved and more supernatural power.
• The Trap: It is revealed that John Jameson has been captured and manipulated into becoming a sleeper agent for the cult, setting the stage for his role in the upcoming Absolute Carnage conflict.
