• The Slanted Friendship: In the black-room vaults of A.R.G.U.S., Barbara first met and befriended Wonder Woman. However, the friendship shattered when Diana laughed at Barbara's fringe cult beliefs, fueling a bitter, lifelong resentment.
• The God-Slayer Transformation: Seeking ultimate validation, Barbara tracked down the ancient God-Slayer Knife. Slashing her own chest with the mystical weapon, she transformed into the feral, apex predator Cheetah.
• The Predator Proves Herself: In the present day, US Marshal and expert "Manhunter" Mark Shaw is dispatched to track Cheetah down. Cheetah easily outmaneuvers her pursuers, brutally slaughtering them in the Louisiana swamps to offer their hearts to her goddess and prove she is Earth's most dangerous hunter.
