X-Force # 8 1992 NM-

X-Force # 8, published by Marvel Comics in March 1992, is an issue focused heavily on internal team dynamics, character development, and the burgeoning relationship between the team leader Cable and Domino. 

"Mean Streets" 

The story is largely character-driven, taking a break from large-scale battles to explore the new status quo of the team operating out of their base, the old New Mutants' mansion. 

• Cable and Domino: A significant portion of the issue focuses on Cable and Domino out on the town, sharing a quiet, intimate dinner where their romantic tension and mutual respect are explored in depth. This date helps solidify the trust between the team's two leaders.
• The Rest of the Team: Back at the base, the other members of X-Force are training and dealing with domestic life issues. Warpath (James Proudstar) is dealing with his grief and anger over the death of his people. Boom-Boom and Cannonball are growing closer.
• A New Recruit: The issue also features the continued integration of the new recruit, Shatterstar, into the team dynamic, highlighting his alien nature and unfamiliarity with Earth customs.
