• A New Origin: Unlike the traditional Gotham cat burglar motivated purely by wealth, this 25-year-old version of Selina is an Afro-Cuban "alleycat" whose story is defined by what has been taken from her rather than what she takes.
• The Costume & Tech: She sports a modernized, neo-Gotham tactical suit that trades classic goggles for a highly reflective helmet. Her gear includes knuckle claws, camouflage capabilities, and a functional tail that wraps to double as a whip.

Universe Continuity

The character first made her dramatic debut in Absolute Batman #13 before spinning off into this solo title. The issue is also heavily rumored by fans to potentially introduce the Absolute Universe version of Cassandra Cain.
