Absolute Evil # 1 released on October 1, 2025, is an oversized one-shot that serves as the first major crossover event for DC's Absolute Universe. It shifts the focus to the villains who rule this Darkseid-influenced world and their reaction to the sudden rise of "aberrant" superheroes like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. 

The issue centers on a high-stakes summit where the universe’s most powerful villains unite to maintain their control over a planet they consider their "playground". 

• The Villainous Summit: Key figures including Ra's al Ghul, Veronica Cale, Hector Hammond, and Dr. Elenore Thawne meet to address the disruption caused by emerging heroes. They are joined by a mysterious, unsettlingly calm version of the Joker.
• The Omega Particle: The Joker reveals the discovery of the "Omega Particle," a fundamental building block of reality that proves their world has a "moral gravity" toward evil, making heroes a scientific anomaly.
• A "Justice League" of Villains: To counter the heroes, the group forms an alliance. In a dark subversion, they name their team the Absolute Justice League, claiming they are the ones enforcing the natural "just" order of their world.
• Historical Context: Flashbacks reveal that this world had heroes in the past (such as the Sandman, Wildcat, and Iron Munro), but they were easily corrupted or eliminated by the ruling powers.
• Hawkman's Betrayal: It is revealed that Absolute Hawkman has been a government hitman since the 1950s. He proves his loyalty to the villains by brutally murdering Absolute Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) and delivering his body to the summit.
