Plot Summary 

• The Mission: After the events of issue #7, Captain Cold (Snart) convinces Wally West to join forces with the Rogues to storm the Fort Fox army base. Their goal is to rescue Wally's father, Rudy West, and take down the manipulative Doctor Elenore Thawne.
• The Cosmic Treadmill: Elenore Thawne unveils her greatest creation to Colonel Rudy West: the Absolute Cosmic Treadmill. This portal device is revealed as the "missing link" between her grandfather's research and Barry Allen's work, intended to open doorways to other dimensions.
• The Betrayal: The assault on Fort Fox is compromised by a traitor within the group. While the Rogues attempt to infiltrate the base using their tank, the Prowler, they are met with a pre-emptive strike from Thawne, who was already aware of their arrival.
• Wally's Powers: Wally begins experiencing surreal hallucinations and "mysterious communications" through his powers. He sees visions of a black hole with red energy, suggesting his connection to reality is cracking as he taps into non-linear time and alternate dimensions.
