The Storyline: The Finale of "Get Brainiac"

This issue marks the epic, oversized conclusion to the high-stakes "Get Brainiac" story arc. Ever since arriving on this alternate Earth as a lone champion of the oppressed, this version of the Last Son of Krypton has been continuously hunted, tortured, and pushed to the brink of insanity by the psychotic alien butcher known as Brainiac.

• The Ultimate Showdown: The issue features the definitive final confrontation between Superman and Brainiac.
• The Absolute Alliance: To take down Brainiac's global threat, Absolute Superman unites with an extraordinary powerhouse team featuring Absolute Steel (debuting a new suit), Absolute Hawkman, Black Adam, Toyman, and Metallo.
• A New Era: The issue ends on a massive, status-quo-shattering cliffhanger. With the threat of Brainiac resolved, everything changes for the Man of Steel as he discovers mysterious Kryptonian whispers calling to him from the dark void of the Phantom Zone, prompting him to leave Earth behind and venture into deep space for the very first time in subsequent issues.
