Arsenal #1 (1998) is the first issue of a four-part limited series published by DC Comics that focuses on Roy Harper (formerly Green Arrow's sidekick, Speedy) as he struggles to balance his life as a single father and a superhero. 

Plot Summary: "Next of Kin"

• The Conflict: Roy discovers that his daughter, Lian Harper, has developed a rare and potentially fatal health condition.
• The Antagonist: The immortal villain Vandal Savage is revealed to be Roy's ancestor. Savage seeks to kidnap Lian to harvest her organs for his own use, as his immortal body is beginning to fail.
• Key Allies: Black Canary (Dinah Lance) assists Roy during a mercenary attack on his apartment and helps him care for Lian at the hospital.
• The Mission: Roy must confront his past failures and decide how far he is willing to go to save his daughter from Savage.
