B.P.R.D. Killing Ground # 1 2007 VF/NM

B.P.R.D. Killing Ground # 1 released on August 8, 2007, is the first issue of a five-part miniseries that serves as a visceral return to supernatural horror for the Bureau. Written by Mike Mignola and John Arcudi, with art by Guy Davis, the story follows immediately after the events of B.P.R.D.: Garden of Souls. 

The story centers on internal shifts within the Bureau and the infiltration of a deadly force into their headquarters. 

• Daimio’s Secret: Captain Ben Daimio is forced to confront his lineage and the consequences of his 2001 mission in the jungles of Bolivia.
• The Wendigo: Daryl, the Wendigo from The Universal Machine, is moved into the Bureau's Colorado headquarters.
• New Members: Panya, an ageless mummy and psychic brought from the island at the end of Garden of Souls, begins to integrate into the team.
• Johann’s Commodity: Johann Kraus finds himself in possession of a "valuable commodity"—a new physical body.
• Bureau Infiltration: The issue sets up a tense atmosphere as a sinister force worms its way into the heart of the B.P.R.D., blurring the lines between the hunters and their prey.
