Batman # 110 2021 NM-

Batman # 110, released in July 2021, is a key issue that escalates the conflict between Batman and the Magistrate program, a private militia approved by Mayor Nakano to enforce order in Gotham City. The issue is part of the storyline leading into the "Fear State" event. 

The primary story in Batman #110, titled "The Cowardly Lot, Part Five," focuses on Batman's brutal confrontation with Peacekeeper-01 (Sean Mahoney), the Magistrate's first enforcer. 

• Conflict Escalates: The bloody, intense fight between Batman and Peacekeeper-01 rages through Gotham, while Simon Saint's master plan to deploy his private army across the city comes to fruition.
• Batman Outmatched: Batman is physically outmatched and cut off from communication with his support team (including Oracle and Nightwing). He is forced to retreat to survive the encounter.

The backup story, "Ghost-Maker, Chapter 4," continues to explore the past of Batman's ally, Ghost-Maker. 

• Showdown: Ghost-Maker battles Madame Midas's army of robots on Devil Skull Island.
• The Instigator: The story introduces the Instigator, a villain with an alligator-like appearance who tells of his previous, unsuccessful battle with Ghost-Maker to illustrate that Ghost-Maker's prowess comes from skill, not just technology.
