Batman #14 (releasing October 7, 2026) is a critical middle chapter in DC Comics' massive, 10-week Gotham City crossover event, "Batman: Bad Seeds". The story unfolds over one continuous, long, dark night of chaos triggered by Poison Ivy.

The issue handles two distinct, high-tension storylines:

The Main Plot: Hunting Mr. Freeze

Poison Ivy’s aggressive plant mutation, known as "the bloom," has completely overrun and altered Gotham City.

• The Mission: As the grueling night nears its end and dawn approaches, Batman realizes standard tactics won't work. He must hunt down Mr. Freeze.
• The Goal: Freeze is the only person alive who possesses the frozen scientific data capable of halting and neutralizing Ivy's hyper-aggressive, out-of-control vegetation.

The Subplot: Siege on Wayne Manor

While Batman is deep in the city searching for answers, the chaos reaches his own front door.

• The Defense: Alfred's daughter, Verity Pennyworth, is left entirely on her own to defend Wayne Manor from an influx of violent invaders.
• The Tease: DC's solicitation notes that the home invaders are in for a brutal surprise, teasing that they are about to discover they "picked the wrong house to mess with."
