Plot & Premise: "The Religion of Crime"

The story picks up a thread Rucka has wanted to explore for years, focusing on a dark prophecy that has haunted Kate Kane since childhood. 

• A Mythic Mission: Kate confronts the Religion of Crime, a cult devoted to an apocalyptic prophecy centered on her. The story asks how a soldier fights the devil when the devil is literally real.
• International Setting: The initial arc is set in Greece, where Kate seeks therapy for her trauma while being pursued by supernatural threats.
• Red Alice Returns: Kate’s sister, Elizabeth Kane (Red Alice), plays a central role as the series explores the deep emotional and ethical scars of their relationship.
