Captain America # 395 1991 NM-

Captain America # 395 titled "Rogues in the House," was published in December 1991. Written by Mark Gruenwald and illustrated by Larry Alexander, it serves as a transitional issue between "The Superia Stratagem" and the "Operation: Galactic Storm" crossover. 

"Rogues in the House"

The primary plot features Captain America teaming up with the "new" Thor (Eric Masterson) to investigate the abandoned family home of the Red Skull. 

• The Mission: Hoping to confirm the Red Skull's apparent death (following a series of deceptions in previous issues), Cap and Thor lawfully execute a search warrant at Skull House.
• The Trap: Inside, they are ambushed by the bio-fanatic Arnim Zola and his monstrous creation, Doughboy.
• The Cliffhanger: The two heroes are trapped in Doughboy's adhesive body. Zola, claiming the Red Skull is truly dead, commands Doughboy to dispose of them in a nearby lake. 

• The Skeleton Crew: At a hideout in Colorado, Mother Night holds a lethal audition to find a replacement for Crossbones. The villains Cutthroat, Deathstroke, and Mangler fight to the death; Cutthroat emerges as the sole survivor and new henchman.
• Diamondback (Rachel Leighton): Rachel continues training and expresses her desire to join the Avengers' permanent staff as an executive secretary.
• A Romantic Triangle: Steve Rogers finds himself in an awkward social situation when his former girlfriend, Bernie Rosenthal, and his current love interest, Diamondback, both appear at the Avengers Mansion simultaneously. 

"The Big Brawl"

A backup story focuses on BAD Girls, Inc. (Asp and Black Mamba):

• They are confronted at a "Bar With No Name" by a group of female villains (Battleaxe, Golddigger, and Steel Wind) looking to collect a bounty posted by Superia.
• The battle ends when they are joined by Impala, who helps them escape and subsequently joins their team.

• Guest Star: Thor (Eric Masterson).
