Captain America: Forever Allies # 1 2010 NM-

Captain America: Forever Allies # 1 is the first issue of a four-part miniseries released on August 4, 2010. The series is part of the storyline featuring Bucky Barnes as Captain America and centers on a cold case from his time as Bucky Barnes with the Young Allies during World War II.

The narrative is structured around two parallel timelines:

• World War II (Flashbacks): The story revisits the final mission of the original Young Allies team. Bucky Barnes, along with Toro, the Golden Girl, and others, were operating in Hollywood while dealing with the villainous and mind-controlling Lady Lotus. This mission ended with Lotus escaping capture, a failure that haunted the team.
• The Present Day: Bucky, now serving as the modern Captain America, discovers that Lady Lotus has resurfaced. She is seeking to acquire a powerful mystical artifact that the Young Allies prevented her from obtaining decades ago. Bucky must pick up the trail from the unfinished 1940s case and race across the globe to stop his old adversary from gaining immense power.
