Carnage Forever # 1 2022 NM-

Carnage Forever #1 is an anthology one-shot published by Marvel Comics on February 23, 2022, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Carnage's debut. It serves as a bridge between the Extreme Carnage event and the 2022 Carnage ongoing series.

The issue features two main stories and a comedic one-pager: 

• "Homecoming"
• Writer: Phillip Kennedy Johnson | Artist: Edgar Salazar
• Plot: A young abuse victim named Elsie encounters the Carnage symbiote—piloted by Cletus Kasady's codex—at the ruins of the St. Estes orphanage. The symbiote helps her exact a bloody revenge on her abusers.
• "Unmade in His Image"
• Writer: Ram V | Artist: Salvador Larroca
• Plot: Acting as a direct prequel to the 2022 series, this story shows the hostless Carnage symbiote infiltrating a supermax prison. It tracks down Hydro-Man (Morris Bench), brutally killing him to siphon his powers and test its own growing capabilities.
• "The Family Symbiote"
• Creator: Ty Templeton
• Plot: A humorous spoof of The Family Circus, featuring Venom, Carnage, and Toxin. 

The issue is considered a minor key for the 1st appearance of Elsie.
