Cinderella: Fables are Forever 2011 # 1 is the first issue of a six-issue comic book miniseries published by Vertigo/DC Comics, which is a spin-off of the main Fables series. The story is about Fabletown's secret agent, Cinderella, investigating a series of murders. 

The central premise of the miniseries is that someone is murdering sorcerers out on "the Farm," a place where non-human fables live, away from the main Fabletown in New York City. All clues suggest the killer is Cinderella's old archnemesis, an assassin from her spy days during the Cold War who she believed had been dead for years. 

Issue #1 sets up the mystery and re-establishes Cinderella as a capable, "Emma Peel"-esque secret agent whose talents are known only to Fabletown's elite. The story sends her on a globe-trotting investigation that delves into her past missions and introduces various international fables, including Russian ones.
