Convergence # 6 2015 NM-

Convergence #6 (2015) shifts the event from a series of individual city duels into a multiversal war, as the sorcerer Deimos seizes control of the planet. 

Plot Summary

The issue follows the immediate aftermath of Deimos displacing both Brainiac and Telos. 

• Deimos' Ultimatum: Having absorbed the power of the Time Masters, Deimos demands that all inhabitants of the captured cities pledge loyalty to him or face destruction.
• The Heroic Alliance: The Pre-Flashpoint Superman (Clark Kent) takes a leadership role, uniting a "pantheon of heroes" from across various timelines—including Earth-2, Kingdom Come, and Pre-Crisis eras—to stand against Deimos.
• Convincing Telos: Dick Grayson (Earth-2) is sent to reason with the sentient planet entity, Telos. He successfully convinces Telos to turn against Deimos and fight for the future of the people on his surface.
• The Battle Begins: Deimos summons his own army of "desperate and cynical" individuals from the various cities, leading to a massive clash between the heroes of the multiverse and those who have bowed to the sorcerer.
• Outside Observers: The planet's encroachment into the New 52 reality draws the attention of the Justice League, Darkseid, and Nix Uotan (the Superjudge), who watch as the multiverse begins to "tear at the seams".
