Convergence # 8 2015 NM-

Convergence #8 (2015) is the final issue of the two-month crossover event, serving as a massive reset for the DC Multiverse. 

Plot Summary

The issue follows the chaotic aftermath of the sorcerer Deimos' death, whose released chronal energy threatens to tear apart the planet Telos and all of reality. 

• Brainiac's Redemption: The time traveler Waverider frees the imprisoned Brainiac, who has witnessed every version of DC continuity and seeks redemption. Brainiac agrees to help stabilize the planet and return the captured cities to their rightful timelines.
• Fixing the First Crisis: To prevent the collapse of the multiverse, several heroes volunteer to travel back to the original Crisis on Infinite Earths.
• Pre-Crisis Barry Allen (Flash) and Supergirl return to fulfill their original destinies.
• Pre-Flashpoint Superman, Lois Lane, and Parallax (Zero Hour Hal Jordan) join them to ensure the multiverse's survival.
• The Result: Their actions are successful, effectively "undoing" the original Crisis and restoring an infinite multiverse where all past continuities can coexist alongside the current New 52 universe.
