Convergence: Batman and the Outsiders #1 (2015) is a tie-in issue focusing on the Pre-Zero Hour Outsiders team, featuring the then-current Batman leading his non-super-powered teammates against a cyborg invasion from the grim Future's End universe. 

Story Synopsis

The issue is set in the domed city of Gotham from the Pre-Zero Hour continuity. 

• Life Under the Dome: For a year, the citizens of Gotham have been without powers. The team, including Metamorpho, Looker, Katana, Geo-Force, and Thunder, have been forced to live mundane lives. The narrative highlights the struggles of these characters without their abilities, especially Batman, who has to rely purely on his human grit and resources in a world that has become a dangerous, dome-enclosed prison.
• The Dome Falls: When the dome is lifted and powers are restored, the team immediately springs back into action, ready to defend their city.
• The Future's End Invasion: The opposing city's champions are revealed to be from the dark, dystopian Future's End universe. The invaders are relentless, emotionless Brother Eye cyborgs who view all organic life as something to be assimilated or destroyed.
• A Gritty Conflict: The issue sets up a battle of ideals and strength: the human-focused, albeit super-powered, Outsiders against a technological, hive-mind threat. The cyborgs immediately begin their assault, forcing the Outsiders into a desperate fight for survival.
• The Cliffhanger: The issue ends with the Outsiders facing an overwhelming force of cybernetic enemies, with the fate of their entire timeline hanging in the balance.
