Convergence: Batman and the Outsiders #2 (2015) is the concluding issue of the tie-in series, bringing a final confrontation between the Pre-Zero Hour Outsiders and a group of cyborgs from the Future's End universe. 

Story Summary

The issue picks up with the Pre-Zero Hour Batman (this continuity's version) leading his team of Outsiders—including Metamorpho, Looker, Katana, and Geo-Force—against the invading Brother Eye cyborgs from the Future's End reality. 

• The Struggle: The Outsiders, who have just regained their powers after a year under the dome, fight a desperate battle against the relentless, emotionless cyborgs. The conflict is a stark ideological clash between human heroes fighting for their world and a cybernetic hive-mind seeking assimilation.
• The Decision: The issue is heavily focused on the tactical decisions Batman and his team make. They realize that a straightforward fight may be a losing proposition and must use their skills and teamwork to outsmart their technologically advanced foes.
• A Victory, but at a Cost: The Outsiders manage to defeat the Brother Eye forces, thus winning the "Convergence" challenge for their zone and saving their Gotham City from destruction. The victory is hard-won, emphasizing the resilience of these specific versions of the characters who had largely been forgotten by mainline DC continuity.
