Convergence: Green Lantern Corps # 1 2015 VF/NM

Convergence: Green Lantern Corps #1 (2015), written by David Gallaher with art by Steve Ellis and Ande Parks, focuses on the pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths versions of Guy Gardner, John Stewart, and Hal Jordan, who are trapped in a domed Gotham City. 

Plot Synopsis

The story is set during the year the heroes of Gotham City are trapped under Brainiac's dome without their powers. The three Green Lanterns are struggling with their mundane lives and past traumas. 

• Guy Gardner's Struggle: Guy, living in Gotham, struggles with PTSD from his time being tortured in the Phantom Zone by General Zod and Sinestro. He works as a gym teacher and is intensely frustrated and angry with Hal Jordan for the events that led to his coma and his girlfriend getting engaged to Hal.
• Hal's Obsession: Hal Jordan has resigned from the Corps and is obsessed with using science to "hack" the dome's energy field to contact Oa and restore their rings' power. He feels immense guilt over what happened to Guy.
• John's Life: John Stewart is busy and seemingly better adjusted to the powerless world, but dealing with his own issues.
• The Confrontation: Guy eventually tracks down Hal to his makeshift lab and starts destroying his equipment, eager for revenge.
• The Dome Drops: As they fight, the voice of Telos announces the dome is coming down and the cities must fight. The Green Lantern Power Battery starts glowing again. Hal recharges his ring and punches Guy out, declaring he and John will handle the fight because he won't let Guy die because of him again.
• A Ringless Hero: Guy, waking up in the wrecked lab, decides he doesn't need a ring to be a hero and collects useful items, while John and Hal prepare to defend their city with the single restored Power Battery.
